What else can be said about the movie that truly started it all?  This was truly a groundbreaking film that has shaped directors, movies, and actors of every type.  It is so hard to be critical of a movie like this when George Lucas even went so far as to re-release his films in a re-mastered format, which was also something that had never been done before.  I have nothing bad to say about a film that also has no real comparisons.  And had the world ever truly seen a space battle like the one that ended in the destruction of the Death Star?  I don’t think so!  A New Hope is the measuring stick because it was the first.  I will note that the most incredible aspect of this film is that George Lucas truly knew where his story was going in the future.  Yet, the journey begins here with a simple farm boy named Luke Skywalker and his two droids, a princess named Lei Organa and a smuggler accompanied by his sidekick, Chewbacca.
