The thing that bothered me the most about this movie was that Cindel’s parents and her brother are killed in like the first two minutes of the movie making all the efforts of the previous film seem totally fruitless.  The fact that those characters endured so much in the first film, only to be killed so easily in the second movie, made no sense at all.  And don’t you know how excited I was to see Wilford Brimley (AKA. “The Quaker Oats Guy”) playing a lead character in this film.  That was almost as bad as letting “Maude” star in the Star Wars Christmas Special!  The creativity and originality of the first film simply couldn’t be recaptured in this pitiful effort that at times was rather painful to watch.  There were a few brief glimpses of that same originality in this film…however; this was perhaps the first Star Wars movie that I really disliked.
